Time Travel Thursday # 129 & Talented Time Travelers #128

We all have our time machines. Some take us back, they're called memories.
Some take us forward, they're called dreams."
~Jeremy Irons~

Welcome to the 129th Time Travel Thursday linky party at The Brambleberry Cottage!

Are you ready to share your fondest memories,
grandest dreams, and most creative projects? Great!

Though Christmas has now come and gone, I thought I would give you a glimpse of some
of the wonderful holiday creativity shared by our
talented time travelers from last week's party

Who knows, you just might get a few ideas that will get your own
creative juices flowing for next year.  ; )

Robin @ HAPPY AT HOME made it super easy to take a tour of
her lovely abode—all decked out for the holiday.

The splashes of red set against an ocean of white introduced
a traditional Scandinavian vibe.

I love the fact that the adorable design on these sour cream
cookies will work throughout the winter months.

Aimee @ Barns & Noodles not only shared the how-to for the decoration,
she also shared her yummy-sounding recipe

There are so many creative ways to use old sweaters.

For instance, Diane @ AN Extraordinary DAY applied her talents to
give two cable knits new life as old-fashioned
Christmas stockings.

Shari @ turnstyle Vogue worked her magic on cloth napkins—transforming
them into clever shapes like snowflakes and flowers.

Want a charming way to make use of all the craft odds
and ends you may have lying around your place?

Just create a lace forest like this one by Mitzi @ MITZI'S MISCELLANY.

Now...
take us into a whole new year of
creative endeavors.   ; )

Welcome to the 124th Time Travel Thursday linky party at The Brambleberry Cottage!

Are you ready to share your fondest memories,
grandest dreams, and most creative projects? Great!

First, let's take a peak at some of the creativity shared
by our talented time travelers last week.

If you're looking for a creative way to keep the kiddos
entertained after Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow, look no further than
this fun idea from Aimee @ It's Overflowing.

Carolynn @ Chenille Cottage styled this
sweet autumn vignette and tagged it with the
greatest reason we have to be thankful.

Are you still stumped over what to
serve your guests for dessert this Thanksgiving?

Why not give this yummy treat by Nici @ Posed Perfection a try.
It couldn't be any simpler.

Here's another no-fuss dessert option
presented by the girls @ RECIPES We Love.

And if your not fond of pumpkin pie, they shared
several other tasty-sounding sweets.

And last but not least, the Tumbleweed Contessa tempted us with
her recipe for Texas-sized pumpkin muffins.

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with boundless
love and the sweet fellowship of family and friends!

xoxo,
Liz

"We all have our time machines. Some take us back, they're called memories.

~Jeremy Irons~

Welcome to the 122nd Time Travel Thursday linky party at The Brambleberry Cottage!

Are you ready to share your fondest memories,
grandest dreams, and most creative projects? Great!

First, let's revisit some of our talented time travelers from last week's party.

Don't you just love novel furniture transformations?

The French script and flirty floral knobs that Lisa @ {create inspire} used on her vanity
took that piece from mundane to marvelous.

It's that time of year when we need to get ourselves in gear
for the rapidly approaching holidays.

Deb @ Lake Girl Paints shared a tutorial on how to make
cute handmade tags that could take us from place cards at
the Thanksgiving dinner table to Christmas packages all decked
out for gift giving.

It seems one of the common themes among us bargain hunters
is difficulty in passing up something we fall for when it's such a steal.

Jan @ The Pink Geranium scored this adorable Scottie lamp
for a mere buck and the shade for only fifty cents.
Now that's what I call a bargain!

One of the best things about a kitchen remodel
is maximizing the space to meet your personal needs.

That's exactly what Bethany [and hubby]
@ This LITTLE ESTATE did in their magical makeover.

Muffins are always a big hit in our house.
And spice muffins sound perfect for this time of year.

Not only did Still Woods Farmhouse share a yummy-sounding recipe for this treat,
but there were some great ideas for reducing stress
during the breakfast rush, as well.

Now show us what you've got this week!

~Jeremy Irons~

Welcome to the 120th Time Travel Thursday linky party at The Brambleberry Cottage!

Are you ready to share your fondest memories,
grandest dreams, and most creative projects? Great!

First, we'll travel back in time to last week's party and
see some of the awesome things shared by our talented time travelers.

Beautiful weddings and beautiful brides always
pluck the heart strings of yours truly!

Leigh Ann @ Love Leigh Again shared some of the lovely things
that made the wedding of her beautiful daughter, Rebekah, extra special—the
buffet in the background of this image being one of them.

If there's one place I'm likely to find a fabulous
home décor item—or two or three—every single time I visit,
 it's HomeGoods.

And it's seems, I'm not the only one!  Deb @ Vintage on a Dime!
found several beauties during her latest visit.

Check out that little three-legged stool.
Super cute, right?!

Don't you just love the versatility of
burlap?  Not only does  it "up" the style factor wherever it's used, but
it's terrific for any season of the year.

Marty @ Marty's Musings shared her take on burlap's versatility
 with these attractively wrapped candles.

While I love, love, love the amazing display of autumnal
colors bursting forth this time of year—like those presented in my blog
header, from around our farm—I'm also quite fond of the more
subdued palettes, such as the one above.

Moni @ ZuHaus at Home has put together a terrific tablescape
using pewter pieces given to her by her sister, coupled
with the bounty of nature.

With the transforming power of paint, there's really no reason
to spend a fortune on decorative elements for our homes.

As demonstrated by Jenna @ 24 Cottonwood Lane, by
choosing an interesting base, an attractive shade and the right paint color,
you can have chic on the cheap.

I think fabric pumpkins add such a wonderful touch to
fall decorating.  I have a stash of vintage fabrics I've been
itching to use for just such a project.

If you would like to create your own pretty pumpkin
patch, as well, be sure to visit Sherri @ Aesthetics...A Junker's Journal
for the how-tos.

OK, we've been anxiously waiting all week to see your handiwork, so
get to linking up all those wonderful projects!   ; )

Time Travel Thursday #119 & Talented Time Travelers #118

Some take us forward, they're called dreams."
~Jeremy Irons~

Welcome to the 119th Time Travel Thursday linky party at The Brambleberry Cottage!

Are you ready to share your fondest memories,
grandest dreams, and most creative projects? Great!

Let's take a peek at some of the creativity shared
by our talented time travelers last week first.

Since my rough-and-tumble hunter hubby is not
too keen on having very many prissy decorations around our tiny cottage,
I'm forced to live vicariously through those of you who surround yourselves
with lots of pretty, feminine décor.   ; )

One day, I hope to once again have my own space to decorate as
lovely as the one pictured above by Kathy @ A Delightsome Life.

Often, it's the simplest elements that
 make the most profound statements.

That's certainly the case for the autumnal touches
on the porch of the Lavender Garden Cottage.

Miranda @ Pressing On also demonstrated the beauty of simplicity
with the various hints of the season around her home.

It's always fun to see the latest transformation magic
Becky @ from generation to generation has performed.

To see more than just the sneak peek I've
shown above, be sure to pay Becky a visit.

For most of us, the traditional, earthy colors of fall
are what come to mind when we think of the current season.

But...
this fabulous tablescape by Janet @
Rosemary & Thyme shows just how beautiful a few nontraditional
colors thrown into the mix can be.

So, now it's your turn to impress us!

Are you ready to share your fondest memories,

Then let's take a look at some of the awesome creativity
shared at the party last week by our talented time travelers.

Savvy salvage reuse always gets noticed
here at The Brambleberry Cottage.

A lovely door-turned-table by Wendy @ SAWDUST & PAINT
gets an A+ from this salvage junkie.

I'm afraid the spotlighted time travelers will not be revealed until Thursday.

Time Travel Thursday #116 & Talented Time Travelers #115

"We all have our time machines. Some take us back, they're called memories.

~Jeremy Irons~

Welcome to the 116th Time Travel Thursday linky party at The Brambleberry Cottage!

Are you ready to share your fondest memories,
grandest dreams, and most creative projects? Great!

Wanna see some of the creativity linked last week by our
talented time travelers first?  Of course you do!   ; )

Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year
It's a time for slowing down the pace of our lives and preparing to
spend more time sheltered indoors.

It's also a time for pulling together pretty vignettes
indicitive of the season—like this beauty by Donna @ Donna's Designs.

And with the change of the season, our
thoughts turn toward all things warm and snuggly—like this
lovely blanket by Jeanette @ This Dusty House.

It's sure to keep one cute little pumpkin as
snug as a bug in a rug.

Time Travel Thursday #115 & Talented Time Travelers #114

"We all have our time machines. Some take us back, they're called memories.
Some take us forward, they're called dreams."
~Jeremy Irons~

Welcome to the 115th Time Travel Thursday linky party at The Brambleberry Cottage!

Are you ready to share your fondest memories,
grandest dreams, and most creative projects? Great!

Gotta check out some of our tremendously
talented time travelers from last week first.

From the moment I spied my first charming
coffee filter wreath out in blogland, I was totally hooked.

And this gorgeous fall rendition by Lisa @ RECAPTURED Charm
has me wanting to run right out and purchase some unbleached filters
to create my very own autumn beauty.

Part of the joy of decorating with old salvage materials
is coming up with some fun, funky way to reuse it.

The unique personal touches that Amber @ WhatAmberLoves added to the panes
of her vintage door not only gave it more pizazz, but her ways with
display brought the old piece to new heights.   ; )

When looking for a fresh, new way to display her jewelry,
Megan, the daughter of Sharon @ Elizabeth & Co., decided to
pull from one of the pins to her Pinterest boards.

To find these cool, industrial spools, she
had to look no further than her mom's stash of goods.

I grew up with quilts, so I'm quite nostalgic
about them.  I have fond memories of snuggling beneath them
on cold winter nights at my grandparents' farm.

This lovely hourglass version by Q @ JAQS studio looks like it came right
out of my grandmother's linen closet.

As the days grow shorter and the nights get cooler, our thoughts turn
toward ways to create warmth inside
our homes—physically and decoratively.

This inspiring idea by Amanda @ Bullfrogs and Bulldogs for using
cozy, neutral-colored yarn to wrap Styrofoam balls
is one I might just have to emulate.

What wonderfully creative ideas do you have to share this week?
