Time Travel Thursday #94 & Talented Time Travelers #93

"We all have our time machines. Some take us back, they're called memories.
Some take us forward, they're called dreams."
~Jeremy Irons~

Welcome to the 94th Time Travel Thursday linky party at The Brambleberry Cottage!

Are you ready to share your fondest memories, grandest dreams,
and most creative projects? Great!

But you know what we always do first—
showcase some of our talented time travelers from the past week.

Craigslist is one of my favorite places to shop.
I will happily take someone else's trash and turn it into a treasure.

That's exactly what Suzanne @ Thrift Store Decor Junky did with
an armoire she found on Craigslist.

Doesn't it make a super fun and funky craft station?

We all know how popular typography and letter art is right now.
But it can be fairly expensive if you don't go the DIY route—like

Her clever, inexpensive art adds just the right pop of color to her wall!

Just like you, I'm really big into recycling things that otherwise might be
destined for the dump...or best case scenario, the thrift store.

Yet, Grant and Brittany @ live your life found a
diamond in the rough that I probably would have stepped
over, around—even on—without having given it a second look.

You'll have to go see what this lovely little bench looked like prior
to the TLC it received to understand what I mean.

I truly enjoy
seeing before-and-after makeovers...
of just about anything.

You cannot imagine what this lovely vanity, by Carrie @ Hooked On Decorating
looked like prior to her creative touch.

One of the things I like about Moda Fabrics is
their mix of mod and retro colors and patterns.

Sarah @ ALDERBERRY HILL used some of the Moda
fabrics she had stashed away to create this fabulous pillow
It adds an old-yet-new feel to her chair.

But...
enough about last week!
Set about dazzling us with this week's creations.   ; )

Time Travel Thursday #93 & Talented Time Travelers #92

"We all have our time machines. Some take us back, they're called memories.
Some take us forward, they're called dreams."
~Jeremy Irons~

Welcome to the 93rd Time Travel Thursday linky party at The Brambleberry Cottage!

Are you ready to share your fondest memories, grandest dreams,
and most creative projects? Great!

First, let's see what some of our
talented time travelers shared at last week's party.

We've seen subway art all over Blogland for awhile now.
But, have you ever seen subway furniture?

Well...
Susan @ SIMPLY VINTAGEOUS took the theme to the extreme and
gave an old bureau the perfect artful makeover.

Do you enjoy seeing before-and-after
 makeovers?  I certainly do.

Anne @ White Lace Cottage shared several shots of her living room as it
looked before the fabulous transformation you see above.

It was quite fun to pick out all the changes she has made.

With the numerous flower beds, plants, fruit trees and organic garden here
at the cottage, I have more things to attend to than time to do so.

But each time I see beautiful arrangements involving lilacs—
like this gorgeous tablescape by Judy @ JBigg's Little Pieces
I'm tempted to add the planting and subsequent care of lilac bushes
to my never ending workload.   ; )

There are some projects I never tire of.
Those involving burlap just happen to be among them.

Cindy Jane @ Pajama Crafters
used burlap and spray paint
to totally transform her lackluster lamp into a sweet little showpiece.

That was just a small taste of the delights from last week's party.
Now show us what you've got for this week.   ; )

Time Travel Thursday #92 & Talented Time Travelers #91

"We all have our time machines. Some take us back, they're called memories.
Some take us forward, they're called dreams."
~Jeremy Irons~

Welcome to the 92nd Time Travel Thursday linky party at The Brambleberry Cottage!

Are you ready to share your fondest memories, grandest dreams,
and most creative projects? Great!

Let's take a quick peek at some of the creativity shared
at last week's party—by our talented time travelers—first.

The profusion of pallet projects permeating
the blogosphere is mind-boggling.

And the beautifully aged wood on this one,
by Lesa @ Home Frosting, has produced an instant antique.

Over the years, the Yankee and I have cut down, reworked,
and pieced together various furniture parts

But, I never once thought about
cutting a desk apart to make a nightstand.

That clever endeavor was the brainchild of Barbe @ Beez Rental Designs.

From the moment I spied the first
coffee-filter wreath, I was hooked.

And the varied hues of turquoise in this lovely creation,
have served to deepen that infatuation.

Organization is such a beautiful thing—
especially with designer touches like this embellished Pegboard.

It was just one of the many ways Kim @ The Money Pit
transformed a disorganized garage into a delightful workspace

Now show us what you've got going on this week.

Time Travel Thursday #91 & Talented Time Travelers #90

"We all have our time machines. Some take us back, they're called memories.
Some take us forward, they're called dreams."
~Jeremy Irons~

Welcome to the 91st Time Travel Thursday linky party at The Brambleberry Cottage!

Are you ready to share your fondest memories, grandest dreams,
and most creative projects? Great!

First, let's see what some of our
talented time travelers shared at last week's party.

I'm not a purist when it comes to antiques and collectibles.
I truly feel many pieces need new life breathed into them.

So it was easy for me to applaud this Annie Sloan Chalk Paint
transformation by Francine @ SkyBluPink Creations

Go check out the piece in its entirety to see
just how gorgeous it looks in its new skin.

If you're a DIYer who is also into recycling—as I am—then
you'll appreciate the tutorial by Wanessa @ Wanessa Carolina Creations.

Her beautiful storage boxes are a "literal" trash-to-treasure story.

With a jolt of bright red accents, Jade @ There Was a Crooked House
was able to revamp a plain porch space
into a trendy ho tspot for Java time.

OK, now double time it over here and link up your wonderful creations!
