"We all have our time machines. Some take us back, they're called memories.
Some take us forward, they're called dreams."
~Jeremy Irons~
Welcome to the 111th Time Travel Thursday linky party at The Brambleberry Cottage!
Are you ready to share your fondest memories,
grandest dreams, and most creative projects? Great!
First, let's travel back to last week's party, and take a gander at some
of the creativity linked by our talented time travelers.
What is it about fairy houses that
capture the imagination? Their
diminutive size? The quaint details?
Whatever it is, the appeal is magnified when placed
amid beautiful blooms like those
in the garden of Laura @ Cottage and Broome.
I don't use red much in my home décor, but I
was totally twitterpated with this gorgeous piece
from Kathy @ Petticoat Junction.
With milk paint and wax in hand, she transformed her
vintage cabinet into a real showstopper.
It's so ironic that in the past few years chalk paint
has taken the DIY world by storm. Children saw the potential of chalk as
a creative medium long before we adults ever caught on. ; )
Angela @ A TYPICAL ENGLISH HOME capitalized
on the transforming power of chalk paint to put together
the perfect outdoor, artistic canvas for her kiddos.
I'm quite a button nut and have a
fairly large collection stashed here and there.
Needless to say, when I saw the quaint craftings by
Jade @ There Was a Crooked House, I knew I'd be following her lead and
using some of my surplus for pretty paperclips and magnets.
Margaret @ Chantilly Charm definitely turned the heat up on
an old picture frame she had just hangin' around. ; )
By adding a piece of wood she painted with chalkboard
paint, she created a piece that really rocks in red!
OK, now how can you WOW us this week?!
