Time Travel Thursday #99 & Talented Time Travelers #98

"We all have our time machines. Some take us back, they're called memories.
Some take us forward, they're called dreams."
~Jeremy Irons~

Welcome to the 99th Time Travel Thursday linky party at The Brambleberry Cottage!

Are you ready to share your fondest memories, grandest dreams,
and most creative projects? Great!

Let's peek at a few projects from last week before we get started.

Susie @ The Humble Nest of Mrs. V is responsible for the totally
terrific transformation of these two tiny tables.   ; )

She shared her secret weapon for the painted design,
but you'll have to visit her for that tidbit of info.

This bedroom was once bold, beautiful, and...
 ablaze with color.

Anita @ Cedar Hill Ranch calmed things down nicely with her
lovely, new, soothingly-neutral palette.

I'm always delighted by the charming details
Betsy @ My Salvaged Treasures gives her creations.

Just look at all the beadwork on that fancy hat!  And what about
the lovely lapel pin?  And to think, this used to be
an antique hairbrush.

The idea to use jewelry to create a
wedding bouquet is such a unique one!

I love the fact that pieces that are special to the bride
can be incorporated into the design.

And that's exactly what Goldie @ The Vintage Texan did with this gorgeous creation.

Vintage photos are so interesting to look at...
and all the more fun when they're old wedding photos.

Stephanie @ Angelic Accents has quite the collection of these
vintage beauties.

And while we're on the subject of weddings...
Stephanie is hosting her third annual Wedding Blog Party on June 8th.
If you love all things wedding, you'll want to be there!

So...
show us what's been happenin' in your world this week?

Time Travel Thursday #98 & Talented Time Travelers #97

"We all have our time machines. Some take us back, they're called memories.

~Jeremy Irons~

Welcome to the 98th Time Travel Thursday linky party at The Brambleberry Cottage!

Are you ready to share your fondest memories, grandest dreams,
and most creative projects? Great!

Gotta give a shout-out to some of our
talented time travelers from last week's party, first.

This fabulous dresser-turned-kitchen-island
is proof positive that with a bit of creative genius, even the most
mundane piece of furniture can become a showpiece.

Rosemary @ Ozma of Odds turned her daughter's drab dresser
into this marvelous masterpiece
with the help of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint.

Chandies add charm to any decorating scheme...
and even more so when they are as unique as this creation by Lynne @

The flower-filled peat pots and berry baskets—among the other
features—make this truly a one-of-a-kind piece.

It's always fun to see the fabulous finds that
others discover during their treasure hunts.

Judy @ French Laundry found quite a few goodies during her recent shopping pursuits.
And one in particular got a wonderful
transformation with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint.

Now, go ahead and strut your stuff again this week!

Time Travel Thursday #97 & Talented Time Travelers #96

"We all have our time machines. Some take us back, they're called memories.
Some take us forward, they're called dreams."
~Jeremy Irons~

Welcome to the 97th Time Travel Thursday linky party at The Brambleberry Cottage!

Are you ready to share your fondest memories, grandest dreams,
and most creative projects? Great!

First, let's check out some of the wonderful things
shared by some of our talented time travelers at last week's party.

Have you ever wanted to shop the
flea markets of different countries?

I certainly have!

And if France is on your dream list, Simone @ Fleaing France
can make your dream a reality.

Very often, something wonderful comes from our initial
failed attempts—if we'll just keep at it.

Lorrie @ Finding Secret Treasure almost gave up on transforming
what was a tired-looking old breadbox.

But her persistence paid off.
Just look at her transformed treasure now!

shared a collection of her wonderful mirrors.

But...
it was this incredible old shutter, with chippy white paint,
 that really captured my attention.

Sometimes, it takes a bit longer than we like
to make our decorating dreams a reality.

it was nearly a year from conception to finished project.
But it was so worth the wait!

Growing up, my sweet mom would make each
of her five daughters their favorite dessert on special occasions.

Mine was made-from-scratch coconut cake.

The Brady girls @ Cookin' Up Good Times shared a recipe
for homemade coconut cake that sounds
totally scrumptious.

Not only does Nann At Nanns Table know how
to wow her guests with gorgeous tablescapes, she delights
them with tasty treats like her Chocolate Raspberry Decandence Dessert
with White Mousse and Raspberry Sauce.

Are you drooling yet?

Now that we've ended last week's features on such a sweet note...
let's get this party started!!!   ; )

Time Travel Thursday #96 & Talented Time Travelers #95

"We all have our time machines. Some take us back, they're called memories.
Some take us forward, they're called dreams."
~Jeremy Irons~

Welcome to the 96th Time Travel Thursday linky party at The Brambleberry Cottage!

Are you ready to share your fondest memories, grandest dreams,
and most creative projects? Great!

Let's take a peek at a few of our talented time travelers
from last week's party first.

Just about the time you think you've seen every possible style of
book-page wreath, someone comes up
with something creative and unique.

Such was the case with this starburst mirror by

I've spied some cute fairy houses before, but this sweet little
creation by Anne @ A Little Fur in the Paint tops them all.

As adorable as it looks here, perched atop the bricks,
you really should take a peek at it in its garden setting.

Have you noticed all the fun DIY
projects these days involving paint chips?

Weiya @ enjoyer of grace has gotten in on this thrifty craze by
creating some colorful art for her son's room.

I'm always thrilled to meet other bloggers
in person.  A few months ago, I had the pleasure of meeting
 Angie of Full Circle Unlimited.

Angie does beautiful furniture transformations,
and decided to share one of them at the party last week.

She sells her pretty pieces on Craigslist.
Just type in charlotte.craigslist.org/
to find her.

I've always admired the various
clay-pot wreaths I've seen over the years.

Now with the easy-peasy tutorial offered by JoAnn @ SweetPepperRose
I think I'll even try my hand at creating one.

Now dazzle us with your incredible creativity again this week!   ; )

Time Travel Thursday #95 & Talented Time Travelers #94

"We all have our time machines. Some take us back, they're called memories.
Some take us forward, they're called dreams."
~Jeremy Irons~

Welcome to the 95th Time Travel Thursday linky party at The Brambleberry Cottage!

Are you ready to share your fondest memories, grandest dreams,
and most creative projects? Great!

Well, last week was rather interesting!
I don't know what was up with Linky Tools again, but it was still not
operating by the time I went to bed at 11pm EST.

So, I really, really appreciate all of you who took the time to
come back and party!   ; )

Before we get this party started, let's take a few minutes and revisit a few of
our talented time travelers from last week.

Isn't this just the sweetest vignette?

It was the creative undertaking of Jody and Stan @

I love the "happy" colors of those lovely blooms.

Biljana @ Biljana Shabby has been a faithful partyer at
Time Travel Thursday almost from the beginning.

Have you ever visited her?
If not, you really should.  She shares some very unique techniques that she
uses for her lovely furniture transformations.

By the way...
Biljana's blog is in Croatian, so use the translator in the sidebar...
unless you speak Croatian, of course.   ; )

There's a new blogger in town!

She's pairing up with Annie Sloan—well, with her paints anyway—
to follow a dream.

Be sure to show her a bit of bloggy love with your visit.
OK?!

If you enjoy decidely feminine décor,
Miss Gracie's house will totally thrill you.

René knows how to put together the most
wonderful "girly" vignettes.

This pretty cloche vignette
by Anne @ White Lace Cottage—contains some of
my favorite things...a bird's nest and books.

Everything looks so special under glass!
Don't you agree?

Did you notice the theme of this week's featured partyers—
pretty, romantic, girly...

I guess after a week of battling ugly bugs on my fruit trees
and the heat and dirt while disassembling an old barn-wood shed,
my subconscious was crying out for all things feminine.

So...
what ya got to showoff this week?
