Celebrating Six Decades


Someone very special just had a birthday!  Well, not just...
Actually, his birthday was one week ago, today.  I tried to get him to let me post
about it on his birthday, but he wouldn't hear of it.

He could not imagine that anyone out in Blogland would even care that he was 
celebrating his 60th birthday.  Besides, he pouted, "I'm looking "really old!"  Yeah,
right!!!

Now, tell me the truth.  Do you think my Yankee looks 60 years old? 
I sure don't!   ; )

    Happy Birthday, Yank. 60 is not so bad. You kinda' get used to it after a few months. Hubby and I think a little differently...we think the kids we went to school with look so much older than we do.

    Happy birthday, Yankee! I'm half Yankee myself, so I appreciate a fine Yankee :) Hope you had a great birthday, I'm right behind you at approaching 60, and how on earth did *that* happen to *us*?!?! I don't think either of us looks nearly our age, honestly we look about 24, don't you think? :)

    I sure wouldn't have guessed it right! :o) My Hubby is getting ready to turn 40 next month, & I don't think he looks his age either. One minister recently asked him if he was 29 or 30 and needless to say, it really made his day! :o)
