Time Travel Thursday #107 & Talented Time Travelers #106

"We all have our time machines. Some take us back, they're called memories.
Some take us forward, they're called dreams."
~Jeremy Irons~

Welcome to the 107th Time Travel Thursday linky party at The Brambleberry Cottage!

Are you ready to share your fondest memories,
grandest dreams, and most creative projects? Great!

Wanna revisit a few of our talented time travelers
from last week first?  Of course you do!

I just love ugly-duckling-to-swan
transformations!  Don't you?

Believe it or not, the cozy little nook above was once a
closet in the entry of the home of Kandi @ WOVEN Home.

Be sure to visit Kandi for the before, during,
and after project posts.

This terrific little transformation
came to us by way of Connie @ Family Home and Life.

She actually "auditioned" several different clock faces
for this redo.  Unfortunately, she's undecided as to which one to use.

Perhaps you would like stop by Connie's and throw in your two
cents worth on the matter.   ; )

This marvelous makeover is the handiwork

With the power of paint—Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, to be exact—and Kathy's artistic
skill, this once drab sewing cabinet
has become a work of art.

To have a special place that is a reflection of one's
own tastes and interests is truly a blessing.

Mary @ Mary's Meanderings has crafted the most amazing place for her
personal creative space.  It is simply overflowing
with the most lovely little vignettes.

And last but not least in our lineup of charming
Cinderella-like makeovers is this lacy little vase.

Carrie @ Hooked on Decorating shared the step-by-step details
for creating this pretty, prissy project.

So what do you want to "wow" us with this week?   ; )

Time Travel Thursday #106 & Talented Time Travelers #105

"We all have our time machines. Some take us back, they're called memories.
Some take us forward, they're called dreams."
~Jeremy Irons~

Welcome to the 106th Time Travel Thursday linky party at The Brambleberry Cottage!

Are you ready to share your fondest memories,
grandest dreams, and most creative projects? Great!

Let's take a trip back in time to last week's party
and revisit a few of our talented time travelers first.

Laurel @ The North End Loft was gifted an old watering can
which sat untouched for an entire season, until inspiration hit.

With paint in hand, she tackled the task of transforming the piece to make it's
patina befitting of its age.  Fabulous faux finish, Laurel!

If you love vintage luggage—you know I do!—then you must pay a visit

Not only has she amassed an amazing collection,
but the vignettes she crafts around them are fantastic.

I love vintage, blue mason jars and have
a small collection of my own.

Unfortunately, they're getting harder to find these days—at reasonable prices,
anyway.  Chris @ My Creatively Vintage Life has
the perfect solution to this problem...
and the how-to couldn't be any simpler!

If you're looking for ideas for a mouthwatering summer
treat, look no further than Lisa @ Fresh Eggs Daily.

Her take on the traditional s'mores recipe—shortbread instead
of graham cracker, with caramel drizzle added—is a simple, sweet
treat for the summer heat.

Time Travel Thursday #105 & Talented Time Travelers #104

"We all have our time machines. Some take us back, they're called memories.
Some take us forward, they're called dreams."
~Jeremy Irons~

Welcome to the 105th Time Travel Thursday linky party at The Brambleberry Cottage!

Are you ready to share your fondest memories, grandest dreams,
and most creative projects? Great!

Of course, we can't start the party without sharing some of
the amazing talented time travelers from last week.

It's always fun for me to see the gorgeous spaces many of you have to put together
as your personal places of creativity.

Jean @ The Backyard Bungalow has filled her private space with
a wonderful assortment of treasures and has used a number of
clever disguises for unsightly modern conveniences.

Lauren @ West Furniture Revival had two lamps
 that were past their prime.

By combining the two, she was able to create
a fixture full of ambiance and style.

I love to camp out, but I've never
been glamping—glamorous camping.

If you want some pretty ideas for this trendy twist on outdoor life,
take a peek at what Diana @ Anyone can Decorate shared last week.

Not only is this home office of Susan's @ must love junk
absolutely chock-full of, well...
cool junk, she also has a super neat photo of that same room from 1957.

These beautiful cards created by Liz @ Quirky Vistas were special gifts
she made and sent out as reminders that freedom has a cost

God bless all who fight to keep America free—including Liz's son!

Now it's time to dazzle us with your latest creative endeavors!   ; )

Follow Me!

Today, I am honored to be a guest blogger over at Knick of Time.

I've been a follower of Angie's blog since she first started
attending my linky party, Time Travel Thursday, some time ago.

It's always fun to peek in on Angie's projects and see what
new treasures she's selling in her Etsy shop.

And this is a very special time to be visiting with Angie.
It is her one year blog anniversary!!!

You'll definitely want to hop on over and
celebrate with us on this momentous occasion.

Not only will you get to see what Angie is up to this week, but
you'll get to participate in her week long giveaway events...

involving the goodies you see above, as well as, a fabulous enamel sign from Ramsign.

And while you're there, why not link up to Angie's weekly linky party.

It's going to be a week of fun you won't want to miss!

So...
what are you waiting for?!

Follow me on over to the party!   ; )

Time Travel Thursday #104 & Talented Time Travelers #103

"We all have our time machines. Some take us back, they're called memories.
Some take us forward, they're called dreams."
~Jeremy Irons~

Welcome to the 104th Time Travel Thursday linky party at The Brambleberry Cottage!

Are you ready to share your fondest memories, grandest dreams,
and most creative projects? Great!

Before we get to partyin', let's check out a handful
of our talented time travelers from last week's party.

If you want to show your patriotism on holidays like July 4th,
but you don't necessarily care for the traditional color combo...
just think outside the box.

That's what Angela @ Number Fifty-Three did when she and her two
little helpers created this terrific, "beachy" wooden flag.

I've been a follower of Esther's Fleur Cottage for some time now.

It's always a delight to tour her lovely home and gardens
You just never know what kind of fantastic
feminine flourishes you might find.

When Joy @ Joy's Jots, Shots & Whatnots spotted a reuse idea for old fencing,
she knew exactly what her next pretty project was going to be.

And how about that setting for her new "old" lounger?
Could it be any more perfect?!

Porches and Southerners go together
like apple pie and ice cream.  As a matter of fact, I have two
of them—porches, that is.

And no porch is complete without a rocker or two.

The festive scene above is the summer porch décor
for Leanne @ The Burlap Cottage.  Quite inviting, don't
you think?

Nothing speaks outdoor, summer yumminess
like fresh corn on the cob!

Kaylee @ Couponing & Cooking suggests using the oven
to cook those ears to perfection.

One of my favorite summertime drinks
is cool, refreshing lemonade.

The recipe shared by Amber @ RECIPES We Love sounds even
more delicious with the addition of strawberries.

Now how was that for a lineup of summer fun?!
