Talented Time Travelers in Focus #42

YOU CAN JOIN THIS WEEK'S PARTY—STILL IN PROGRESS—HERE!

But first, let's take a peek at some of the talented travelers from last week's party.  And don't forget to hop over and peek at those featured from April 20th's party, as well.

I've had to do a double-feature feature tonight.  Since my computer went AWOL on me for ten days, I'm now desperately trying to play catch-up!  ; )

Allison @ Fab Rehab Creations decided to join the ranks of those turning something old and tired into something timeless and treasured.

Great job, Allison!

Certain blog posts just make you want to smile.

Take a close look at the words imprinted on the jug and crocks in the image above.  Christina @ The Tattered Tag used them for a post she titled Cookies & Cream

Too cute!

Kerrie @ Boxers, Cleats, and Me... created the ideal spot for her vintage typewriter and old postcards, when she gave this lovely lady a makeover.

It's the perfect feminine spot for a gal surrounded by guys!  ; )

Sometimes it takes a bit of contemplation for inspiration to hit.

When it hit Rosemary @ villabarnes, this little stand became a vision of loveliness.

I'm drawn to "junk" like a magnet, and so is the Junque Magnet

She finds all sorts of ways to repurpose her finds—like junque jewelry creations.

It seems that so often we are most drawn to the things that conjure up sweet memories from our past.

Janie @ Romantic Domestic has associated precious memories of her grandmother with mockingbirds and vintage gliders.  How fortunate that she now has this beauty of her very own to glide in as she reminisces.

Here's a "sweet" little treat you can make for Mother's Day—edible topiaries.

They're the cute creative idea of Lisa @ THE ENCHANTED OVEN.

It's always a blessing to have someone to help make our decorating dreams come true.

For Jaclyn @ I Design, it was her sweet uncle who made her design wish a reality.

Well that wraps up the special features for the past two weeks of parties

I'll be dropping by to visit the rest of you talented travelers over the next few days.   So put the coffee on, I'm on my way!  ; )

Talented Time Travelers in Focus #41

YOU CAN JOIN THIS WEEK'S PARTY—STILL IN PROGRESS—HERE!

But first, let's focus on some of the talent linked to the party on April 20th.

This lovely project, created by Reneé @ Shabby, Chic and Charming, is being featured for all the Pride and Prejudice fans out in the blogosphere—myself included

As Reneé said, Colin Firth, as Mr. Darcy, is definitely "swoon" worthy!  ; )

If you love the look of a dreamy, relaxingly romantic boudoir, you'll love those shared by Caroline @ Piorra Maison

This was one of my favorites!

Reviving outdated furniture is a passionate pastime of DIYers.

And now, Jennifer @ Dishes and Socks has been bitten by the bug.  Go visit her to see this project completed.

I recently discovered that an old blogging buddy of mine—Jenn @ Peacorn, Popnuts, Soda Gum and  Chewing Water—has returned to the Land of Blog.

She was the winner of my very first giveaway here at the Brambleberry Cottage.  Be sure to pop over, and welcome Jenn back.

I think lilacs are some of the most beautiful—and most heavenly scented—flowers in all of creation.

Modern Country Lady is blessed to not only have them growing in her garden but gracing the inside of her home, as well—on four lovely pillows, made from an old tablecloth.

I know Easter has visited already, but I couldn't resist sharing these lovely decorations from Chris @ Red Gate Farm

The large pink foil egg holds special memories for Chris.  Visit her to see why.

We girls just have to be surround by prettiness!  And where we can't find it, we create it!

Such was the case for Lorrie @ The Victorian Rabbit—when she needed a piece that was not only functional, but lovely to look at, also.

When you're unhappy with the final result of your project, do you just toss it, or rework it?

Well, Danell @ Currently Crafting happily opted for the latter.

Ruffles are all the rage, and we're seeing them show up on everything.

Don't you love how they look on this sweet little bag created by Tynk @ Ruffles & Raspberries?

As KSW @ KSWDesigns revealed, "It has been said that everyone has been affected by cancer in some way."

I've lost several loved ones to this hideous disease.  How about you?

Do you know a survivor?  You can purchase one of these pretty cards at KSW's Etsy shop.

Well, after being without my computer for ten whole days, I have a lot of catching up to do.  But keep on linking to the party.  I'll be by for a visit—eventually!  ; )
